Branding & Plating

John Brash offer full and exceptional customer service regarding Branding , Plating and security for your scaffold boards:-

Scaffold Board Security

Security of scaffold boards is always a problem so John Brash & Co Ltd can supply personalised end bands. These carry the customer's company name and/or logo. For additional security, boards can be branded - usually twice on each side for a 3.9m board - to provide permanent proof of ownership.

In addition to the standard end bands, John Brash supplies Super Hoops. Known as "T-44HP" Bands, these offer the ultimate in end banding, with significant advantages in terms of safety, performance and cost.

The benefits of the fully tooth type "T-44 HP" Super Hoops are:
  • Reduced maintenance costs. The bands remain attached to the boards.
  • Increased security. The bands are very difficult to remove, and if named deter theft.
  • Faster turn-around. Less time spent on refurbishment in your yard.
  • No flapping ends of bands where they have not been fully secured to the board.
  • No protruding nail heads where nails have not been fully driven home.
  • No sharp strands of wire that sometimes remain attached to the nails.
  • Super Hoops are fully tooth type and offer a significant enhancement over standard machine-nailed end bands. Field trials have shown that they remain firmly attached, whereas on conventional bands the nails would have fallen out, leaving them loose and buckled.

Scaff-plates

Scaff plates are ideal for scaffold board repairs, although they are often used on new boards to enhance their life. These nail plates are machine driven into the board, helping to prevent new splits and containing existing ones. They can also carry identification details.

Personalised End Bands

For clear identification the end band can carry customer identification.

Branding

For additional security your name (up to 9 characters) can be burnt in twice on each side.
