Background

John Brash & Co Ltd is one of the principal manufacturers of scaffold boards, and can ensure quality throughout. The company holds a British Standard Kitemark licence for both visual and machine-strength grading of scaffold boards, which are manufactured within a BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 quality assurance system.

John Brash scaffold boards are manufactured from premium European Whitewood sourced from specially selected sawmills. Although alternative species are permitted within the British Standard, the timber used by John Brash is considered the most suitable for scaffold board manufacture.

The timber used for John Brash's scaffold boards comes primarily from sustainable forests in Sweden and Central Europe.
