John Brash ltd’s continuous drive for quality improvement resulted in the award
of ISO9001:2000 in December 2002, the hallmark of quality in the UK and around
the world.
The ISO9000 family of quality management standards and guidelines has earned a global reputation as the basis for establishing quality management systems. All of its elements are designed to help companies maintain high standards over a prolonged period.
ISO9001:2000 replaced the previous standard, ISO9000 (1994) to provide greater focus on the customer, the service sector, continuous improvement and management responsibility. The 2000 standard demands visible and traceable participation throughout the business.
The marque, achieved by all companies within the John Brash Group, was awarded by SGS United Kingdom Ltd, which is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to carry out assessments and issue certificates against standards developed by the International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO).

The John Brash Group achieved the Investors in People Award for its component
companies in January 2004.

business objectives
- Regularly reviews the training and development needs of all employees
- Takes action to train and develop individuals on recruitment, and throughout
their employment
- Evaluates the investment in training and development to assess achievement and improve future effectiveness
To achieve the award we improved and formalised our employee briefing and communications
programme, developed our performance appraisal system, and invested a great deal
of resource into training and development, ensuring that all identified development
needs linked directly into key business objectives.
This Award reflects the positive efforts made to improve our people policies across the group and it is our intention to use our Investor in People status as a platform for continued development of our systems throughout the business.
